Im going to redo my rear leafs with some off a full size

Dude get this thing going i want to see this turn out so bad

I know that the weight is going to suck for it.. Good thing this is not my daily driver, just my play toy.. I would love to be starting it now, but funds are tight like all of us know...I will be buying the wood soon just to have it here.. I'm thinking of birch over mdf..

If funds are short then MDF which is why i use mdf. little funds i've been waiting months to recone my sub so i can start my rebuild and then buy the wood for it too.. also looking at your design I dno if your going to need the tubes in the center. Ive seen in others builds that it actually lost some score for them I know every build if different but just saying what i've seen and read

Well where i live there is only about a $10 difference in price between the 2... as for the tubes, im going to be using allthread anyways to help airflow the best i can..

o ok i got ya i think im going to do 3-5 wooden dowels and one piece of all thread right down the center if i can find a good spot for it. It'll go to the bottom of the bed so NO ONE can steal this bitch

Well guys, just an update for you.. I have a buddy that had 6 d4 type r 12's just sitting in his storage collecting dust and his wife told him they had to go and she sold all of them to me for $100.00 while he was at work..sucks for my buddy..lol... i know i wanted to run the sundowns but i could not pass up almost new subs.. now i just have to find 2 more 12's to match these and i can get started soon..

Just updating alittle.. Had to go back and do a redesign cause of some mismeasurements.. Been getting great help from Brian (Sanitarium).. Let me know what you guys think of it so far.. still not done, working it all out so its done right..

This looks like it is gonna do some serious work!!! I like the sound of some cheap subs too! You can always upgrade later if you want to.

I hope so. .I know its going to take me awhile get done, but it will be worth it.. On the cheap subs, i know i want the Sa 12's but if i have to use the alpines for awhile it will be fine..
