Fatmat or second skin?

I just wanted to add this, at slamology a 300c with 4 fi btls on 4 saz 3500s, had 5 lays of fatmat on the roof and 3 on the doors, 2 on the floor. When he sealed his car up, you could not hear any bass at all.

i remember that, shit was loud as hell but he closed the door and was quiet

I can't say what's better because I've only used second skin but I like the second skin.

Im kicking my own ass for not taking comparison shots of the fatmat vs second skin damp vs second skin damp pro. oh well the fatmat and damp are all gone now. damplifiers in the trunk.....

eh...i had fatmat in my explorer. about half of it started to unstick by itself. and yes i cleaned the areas properly. but the stuff that did stick stuck pretty good

That damn 300c sounded like it had no system when it was sealed up unless you were right next to it.. but damn was that bitch loud opened up.

I've yet to use fatmat, but a friend has, it does pretty well for the price, but I agree, step up and use the Rattletrap, definitely better than standard fatmat and still an amazing price.

but on that note.. I love my second skin
