peacedisturbance Posted November 29, 2010 Author Report Share Posted November 29, 2010 yea big three upgrade in 1/0 and a second battery ran in parallel with 1/0 to the back battery with a good fuse inbetween the power and 1/0 to the amp power AND ground with a good clean ground and a the right size fuse inbetween the amp and battery with i think would be 200 amp the 2200d is fully stable to 1 ohm i wouldnt run it a .5 unless i had VERY good electrical if it were me id run it at two ohms or recone to D2 and wire it down to 1 ohm but its your choice hit up knukonceptz for some 1/0 wire and darvex for terminals and fuse holders ok i will check those companys out for the wire and fuse blocks and terminals Quote Currently in a build 2 BTL 18s 1 AQ 2200 4 Kenetic hc 600s Pioneer AVH-P2300 (next purchase) High output alt 150 amps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Rection Posted November 29, 2010 Report Share Posted November 29, 2010 the problem your having is that the wire is not in there tight, therefore arcing from the wire to the holder and causing it to heat up. this is a sever fire hazard. You need to do 2 things Get Bigger Gauge of both power and ground wire And a Bigger fuse holder.
