spl explorer Posted August 22, 2007 Report Share Posted August 22, 2007 Mono amps put all the amplifiers power into one channel to drive a single speaker (Subwoofer). Multichannel amps separate the power into 4-6 channels depending on the amp to run lower wattage applications like door speakers.
