BanginOnABudget Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 drove an hour and a half to a shop to do an interview, son of a bitch didnt even have the time to talk to me. driving back, steep ass hill, i put my jeep in it about 70 since its gonna drop a little going up the hill (65 mph zone) i hit the top, going 65-70 ish, cop in oncoming lane damn near drifts a 180 into my lane and throws the lights on, i had no idea what was going on, so i pulled over, then he pulled over behind me, i was fucking obilvious to anything illegal i had done. he jumps out of his car and tells me to turn my jeep off, so i do. he tells me to get my license and insurance, i do. then he tells me to get in his car, to which i think "what in the fuck..." but i do it anyway. according to his laser, i was clocked at 81. i was fucking dumbfounded, but btw, this is the first time my jeep has seen highway. i havent had a single driving infraction in my life. so now i have a $200 ticket, so im not going to be able to afford to buy my family anything for christmas. he told me to take it to a shop, well how in the fuck am i supposed to do that when i just got a fucking $200 ticket you fucking pig. god damn i hate cops. they only ever show up at my house to accuse me of shit, and now i have a ticket because i cant afford a decent fucking vehicle. i literally want to just fucking kill someone right now. how can i fight this ticket guys? i appreciate any help. im taking out my passenger seat, battery is disconnected, going to unwire and take out the three amps, take out the 70+ lb box, then the platform so i can crimp 1 wire. Almost as bad as those fegs that put those horns in their grills and roll down the street distorting the block.... 1990 Jeep Cherokee 2 Dr. Big-3 in 0g on Stock Alt. melonhead Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 Well in Cali you would show up to your court date and tell the judge you want to fight it. Then they will schedule another court date so the officer can show up. If the officer is a no show then the ticket is dismissed. But if the officer does show up, you're screwed. If you end up paying the fine, then be sure to go to traffic school so the point doesn't go on your record so your insurance doesn't go up.

Call one of the ticketclinic places and speak to a lawyer. They will tell you what your options are. zachfowler222 Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 from what i have heard from cops in my area is that they cant clock your speed if your coming towards them and they are in motion because the readings will be off, also they said they cant clock your speed in your in front of them and they are driving behind you because since there car is in motion it throws the meter off a little bit. idk how true that it but thats what a few cops have told me but you can take a course online or a 5 hour class so you dont have to pay your ticket and the points dont show up on your insurance the online course is like 50 bucks im glad our family lawyer is the traffic court judge because its very easy for us to get our tickets dropped:) KNOWING PEOPLE FTW!!! I SCAM PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY... AVOID ME LIKE I AM AN AIDS INFECTED RETARD...
