DreDay256 Posted December 8, 2010 Author Report Share Posted December 8, 2010 Yes and I think alot of people would tell you that, I was going to do a RF4000 on the 2 dc's and everyone was steering me to the Sundowns, they were saying the RF4000's were power hungry, but I think with any system with that kind of power you will def need electrical to back it up Oh Yea, Definitely. I'm not short changing it there. All this is going into my walled Magnum, which I can only do 1 extra alternator so I really wanna make the most out of it. I'm just wondering about the Sundowns b/c I've never had any personal experience w/ them.. That's what ive heard, but some manage to do it, and some fry them. I would go with Sound digital if you really wanted to push them Yea, Answer, I've been told to stay away from the Stetsoms lately... @ Socky, no experience w/ the Sound Digitals either. How do they compare w/ the Sundowns, in your opinion? DreDay256 Posted December 8, 2010 Author Report Share Posted December 8, 2010 I ran a Maxximus for awhile on the LVL 5's I don't see where this combo wouldn't work in the correct setup.Which Lvl5's did you have & how many subs?2 18's and I would be more then comfortable saying 4 subs and a maxximus would do very, very well in the right setup. Spec wise I would agree. Ive ran my 7k2d daily for almost a year and have had NO problems... and my amp puts out more power as the 4500 does at 1 ohm at 14v, but mine does it at 2 ohms and 11.2v, oh i have the 1 ohm version if anyone wanted to know oh, did i mention they were close in price? if you have cash to be dropping go with Soundigital, by far they are probably some of the most efficient amps on the market for their pricetag...
