Ford302Redneck Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 diesels also get good mpg vs gas. I get 15 around town and 20ish on highway. Pulling something is different ball game. I can baby it and get 15 on highway, that's say pulling a car trailer with a 4000 pound car.

Ford302Redneck Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 When I was truck hunting, I thought about the pros and cons of each. The diesel had WAY more pros. Plus they actually don't cost much more and you get a helva lot more truck. I started out wantin a small truck(Ranger) and those little trucks are expensive. 12 grand for a good one. So I bumped up to a F150 well there 16-18. So I said shoot I can have a f250 for that. So that's what I got. I can sit here and name all day why I got a diesel instead of gas.
