If you are timing out trying to ping that address, it is not DNS, you are not getting to the site at all. That last hop that replied is the last hop before you get to SMD. I wonder if the ip for SMD is on a blacklist at your ISP? Other than that last hope timing out, you are routing there, so I don't really think it is a problem on your computer. Reboot both modem and router. It forces your ISP to assign a new ip to it. It seemed to work to get me back on.
