Jd1102 Posted October 12, 2011 Report Posted October 12, 2011 All those videos are on only 500w? Super. Also curious about that fuse holder, each side seems to be one block of metal? So each output wire would "share" all the fuses instead of having its own fuse, so the fuses wouldn't protect it from burning up on a short? No it's more than 500 watts I should be getting it clamped today. And metered Mayb. As for the fuse holder yea they will share the fuses. Ive seen a fuse holder similar to this one before and it worked fine. I hate to press a point but that fuse holder won't do it's job, think about it. The point of a fuse is to protect a wire from catching on fire if it shorts. That holder seems to have room for four 300 amp fuses, for a max of 1200 amps? Now if one of the 1/0 output wires from that block shorts, none of the fuses will blow until 1200 amps are running through that wire, then they will all blow at the same time. Now I don't know the exact figure, but a 1/0 wire will certainly melt way below 1200 amps... no its works didn't you see what he said to me he uses just anl when he is just daily driving and when he competes he switches to the mini's
C-Fizzy Posted October 12, 2011 Report Posted October 12, 2011 I don't see how the fuse holder will work either. Each fuse needs to be separate from each other, right now it's acting as one big 1200 amp fuse. And that blows about the amp. Pun not intended. under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy?

Just because it has that many spots to use doesn't mean they all have to be used. I think the original idea was for more options since it was tailored for MECA and daily.
