01xtreme
My sub box is in the process of commiting suicide, so I am wondering what I should do. I am thinking I could just build another box to replace the one I have (very easy, cheap and fast). Or should I build a wall (not so easy, relatively expensive, and it will take a while)? I am pretty tight on money right now since I have just moved for college, and between being in class, and studying I would probably only have time to work on it on the weekends. Normally I would just say screw it and build the wall, but this is my daily driver, and I would not have tunes for a few weeks. If you guys were in my situation what would you do? dwright27
i would build a sealed box for daily use and start on the wall slowly and shit, then throw your sealed one back in and wah lah, tunes and you can do the wall. 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L. 01xtreme
I am definately leaning towards the wall. However I refuse to wall my blazer for 2-15's. Should I end up walling it it will be a wall of 4-15's. now I just need to sort out my finances, and do some hardcore thinking. sean 371
walling can be a real pain, and it sucks losing the rear view. i wouldnt do a wall with just 2 15's. if you had 4 then sure. with just 2 keep it CRX style FTW A couple links to some box builds: Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI, Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150 My own car builds (current setup --- under construction): Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors Subwoofer Wall
01xtreme
I was kinda thinking about rebuilding my box for now, and doing the wall later on, but I dont know. It would be nice to have the extra money to put into my other blazer I am trying to airbag...Im not like some people who supposedly have 40k to do just a stereo.
