BeAlLsTaR13
so last friday was the last time i drove my car.. it sat all saturday because i had nowhere to go and i tried to go somewhere yesterday morning.. car wouldnt start.. figured my batts werent strong enough to start it so i charged them (xs s3400 and kinetik hc1800) so once they were fully charged again, nothing the car acts like it wants to start but doesnt fully turn over.. sounds as if it will but wont.. my dad said ti could be a frozen fuel line, due to hoe cold its been getting (about 10ºF) and the fact my gas tank was kinda low (barly under 1/4th tank) so we pushed the car into the garage (un-heated) and did a few things to try and heat the car/garage but no go.. so today i did a few things, put 4-6 boiling pans of water under the car, the oil crank case ect and nothing.. however i did get it to almost turn over.. was almost there but only got like 99% of the way.. anyone know what i can do to get this bitch to start? finkster
It may very well be the fuel line. Put some heaters under the car and try adding a mixture of fuel line antifreeze in the tank. Jbabycsx
Unless you got gas that is mostly water I doubt a frozen fuel line is the problem. Sounds to me like the starter. 2000 GMC Sonoma AQ20 FTMFW! 4 DC XL 15's Cadence ZRS-C9 Infiniti Kappa 3.5's and 6x8's Bravox 6.5 components

Sounds to me like the starter. everything hear is only 10% ethanol now, as for starter, the starter is fine.. it just wont fully turn over, it'll just keep making that noise when i turn the key (the one you hear for a brief 2-3 seconds before the full turn over) just wont fully turn over Team Sundown Audio**CURRENT** -- 2012 Scion tC Build Click Here **OLD** -- 2002 Pontiac Grand AM Build Click Herecheck them out, slap me a comment2002 Pontiac Grand AM SE 2.2l 4 cylinder ecotec.-------------------------------------------------------------------Head Unit - Alpine CDA-9887Subs - 2x Z 12 v.2s - v.3 + NS Soft partsAmplifier - Sundown Audio SAZ-3500DEnclosure - 3.33 Cubes tuned to 34.66hzFront Stage - JBL P660c 6.5" ComponentsRear Deck - Powerbass 4xl 6.5" Mid-RangeFront Stage Amplifier - Sundown Audio SAX-100.4DWires - Kicker Hyperflex 1/0, KnuKonceptz 1/0, Knu 4 and 8 Gauge, Kicker RCAsElectrical - 275 AMP DC Power H/O Alternator, XS Power S3400, XS Power D2700Videos - http://www.youtube.com/user/BeAILsTaR13-------------------------------------------------------------------
finkster
yea but he was running his tanks low, meaning its all the crud from the bottom of the tank could be in the lines and freeze up. Seen it happen before. DAT 4125------>RE XXX comps active Eclipse cd7000 I serve drunks for a living
STEvil
what do you mean will "alomst turn over" ? Do you mean the motor wont make a full revolution of the crankshaft? Or do you mean its turning over but wont fire and start? If the motor isnt turning over you've got something other than a frozen fuel line. Could be a seized water pump or who knows what.. If its not firing while turning over then it could be as simple as your crank sensor being bad or some other part of the electronic ignition. Pull a spark plug and turn the engine over while watching it to see if it sparks or not (careful not to shock yourself, have someone hold the prong end against the motor so it has somewhere to spark to). MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
