I would LOVE to host a show like that! lol The media has no love for us car audio folks though

id watch...hell id like to be a part of...instead of just the competitions have it get into the backround of the people on the show working their way up...do regions...it would be kool, promote people/teams/products and maybe show people that its not just a bunch of punk kids w loud speakers...its a unorganized organized group of friends/competitors competiting just like any other sport

on top of all that, you cant just start a tv show, you have to first have say a 1.5 hour documentary to get the publics interest and generate curiousity about the subject, and gauge willingness to not pitch a fit about it...lol. the fact that plenty of the public already hates car audio is a HUGE hurdle to have to overcome. I think it would be better done on a small scale over the internet first, then potentially taken to mainstream TV...my .02 cents

Its funny, I talked to James about this last week... Something EXACTLY like this... I was gonna have him get ahold of Steve, since they are friends, but he didnt want to do it personally... Said he didnt think it would survive... I think he's wrong...

I think the show could consist of showing different installs in different vehicles, and I dont just mean 4 18's with a million watts... Im talking the Headunit change out, and changing out door speakers, maybe adding a sub... It would show the consumer the ins and outs of wiring one up, using an amp, not using an amp, how to wire speakers, how to wire an amp, show about wire sizes, fuse sizes, what fuses do, why to use certain wire sizes, And maybe like stacey david did, build a monster every year on the show... They can also get into remote starts, installing them, choosing them, and the different vehicles they go in...

THe difference with audio and HP on tv is that your not there, your not hearing it... it's boring.

I mean look at how many car audio type magazines are still out there? 3 that I can even think of? then compare that to the ungodly amount of hp and performance magazines..

This type of thing would only survive for so long, it would get boring after awhile because you would run out of stuff...

Perfect example is pimp my ride,it got cut because it just wasn't appealing anymore and that was redoing the whole car, not just audio.
