I see the trigger is like 5 pounds so might have to change that but everything else I love, only thing is I'm not sure how you strip it down it doesn't look the same as other kimbers, but might just be because I've never had one

those bushingless 1911's are simple to take down. when you get it, take it to a smith. replace the front sight with a fiber optic sight, the novak sight works well. you want to learn to mainly focus on your front sight, as this will greatly improve your target aquisition speed. also, have the rear sight taken off, and the schwartz safety removed, this will greatly improve the reliability of the gun. also, have a trigger job job done. have the trigger bow ground down to reduce physical weight of the trigger itself, so that you can do a light trigger job safely. also while doing the trigger job, have the sear, and hammer replaced with a higher quality part such as wilson combat "bulletproof" series of parts (the kimber uses cheaper mim parts for these areas).

so don't use rear sights at all?

yes i use my sights when im shooting targets. my rear sight is all black, and my front sight is red fiber optic, so it stands out. if im in a defense situation, i can aquire the front sight very quickly. at any reasonable self defense range, you dont need to line the rear and front sights up perfectly to hit your target, you can still hit center mass.

what im saying is the front sight is the most important one on the gun, so make it stand out.

oh I thought you were saying to get rid of the rear sights completely. I'll target shoot with it mostly so I was sorta lost on that one. I've always been told to look at front sight if I'm shooting to defend my self or some one else because it takes to long to actually line up the shot completely

2 weeks ago "In wikipedia i found that this sub in 1997's unofficial private SPLdB drag was burned down the dB meter! The dB was over 300 and the system burned down. Actually, 300dB is only about ¼ of this prototype sound level."

I don't know anything about guns... so when I saw the title I thought, "I wonder what kind of woofer the AR-15 is?"

*laughs*

Twisted, I would stay away from that guy, the next video he uploads could be you tied up in his living room while being forced to watch him "swag and cook" in person, lol.
