I use similar bit but poked my own eyes with price at lowes lol I bought the extension to gt past gas and brake pedals buts its in 1/2 inch drive.

If i tell you what a local shop i used to buy some stuff at years ago does you would probably PUKE.....They would take a long ass pinch bar with a sharp point like the one in the link below.....Line it up where they wanted the hole and blast away with a hammer punching a hole in the firewall.... :peepwall:

i was standing there one day waiting for the guy to get me something from the stock room and saw them do it....I was like WTF????? there reasoning was that it makes a nice clean hole and no worries about drilling through something..... :pardon:

I like the Rotobroach and or a UNIBIT depending on where i am drilling....
