But for every volt you drop, you lose about 18% of power output of Hifonics amps. I went with this other then an ap3k cuss it's 1ohm stabled . 1 for each t2000 some ap3k's are actually 1ohm stable... two of my old ones were 1 ohm stable but my friends blew at 1ohm but i bet it does rated with good powaaa wow now this just shows that smd isnt just any forum. fecupe2001 Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 I clamped my old bxi2608D wich is the same amp, i had it wired at 1.33 ohms with an impedance rise to 3.8 ohms, with 14.2 volts i saw 900 clamped watts if i remember correctly, so, it did rated power but with a high impedance, i don´t know if it does it around 1 ohm, don´t know if the amplifier is that efficient I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains.
