Just picked up a new alt. also. Does your voltage still drop with the new setup.

I was runnin a t1500.1bd on .5 with a stock alt and a yellow top and never dropped below 13.8?

I was also takeing bad voltage drop as down into the high 12s. Thats why i said it was odd.

i lol'd.

unless you've got a stock 400 amp alternator that does 300 at idle.

you need to get rid of those sorry ass battery terminals when you do the big three. and i suggest you take it easy on that amp. its not gonnna like that 11 volts for too much longer..

yeah it still drops baddley so im getting a new battery becuase i have a really old battery in there right now its like 7 years old

i know new battery and big 3 is next i really dont wanna ruin that amp because i got it for a deal off of craigs list from my friends friend lol

Yea so gains set low on a 1500 with a 140amp alt cant stay above 13.8? Explain

Just out of curiosity, why run the amp at .5 ohm and have the gain down? What sub setup were you running?

Well it was before i knew that mono block amps with 2 sets of terminals were in parelle. So it was my mess up. They were 2 kicker l7s d2 so the amp was actully seeing .5 when i thought it was at 1ohm. Lol
