pioneer9412
I need help designing my box. I already have the size of the box I just need help with port design and location. I just got 4 15" Sound Stream T-4's, but I can only run 2 of them do to lack of space. I wanted to give them about 4.5^3ft each after displacement. The biggest box I can fit is about H=18"x L=38"x W=26". I can't find any box calculators for mac. I want it to be tuned to the mid 30's hz. Can someone Please help me out her

Bakerman
you dont have enough space to run 2 dude,he would need at least 30" one way, and 15" another...i believe 38"x26" is ample enough for two subs...he didn't say they had to be side by side. EDIT: Not trying to sound like an ass...i just don't understand how you are figuring there isn't enough room. Decaf
4.25*2=8.5cuft 18*38*26 is 8.5cuft gross once u have the proper port plus speaker displacement plus bracing displacement u are looking at ~6cuft net.... which is 2.5cuft less than u said u needed thats why u dont have enough room

Sanitarium
i could work up a box that would be 7 cubes after displacement to go into that spot which would be on the small side for 2 15's but not out a problem. 18x38x26 port 16.5x5.25x21 single baffle (cause you're not talking about beasts here and they'll be mounted so that the top and bottom are damn near touching the top and bottom of the box) port would go all the way down 1 side till 5.25" from the back with a 1" piece to go along the back tuning about 34 hz. have fun! Are you saying put the port on the same side as the subs? Because I can mount them facing up or facing them towards the trunk? This is just temporary until it gets warm and I can wall my accord off Thanks
