skittlesRgood
loose connections, blown voice coil, fucked up amp, fucked up deck, fucked up rcas, etc., etc. in other words, it could be anything. go do some troubleshooting and report back with more info Quote If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. TeamHT
Is spl the name of the brand? Is it dual voicecoil? Could be a blown coil. How is the amp wired? Where are the gains set at? esedriver567
Is spl the name of the brand? Is it dual voicecoil? Could be a blown coil. How is the amp wired? Where are the gains set at? yes it is a brand name and its a dual voice coil. i think it is the wiring i will take a look. and as i recalled last night the amp was really hot. also my deck is brand new. would it be because inm running a 18 gguage wire for speaker wires? the wires that are hooked up to the coils are ten guage. but i will go through every and get back. Rebel4055
Dann that would make sense but his amp is hot as hell that usally means that the amp is clipping like hell Quote Rest In Peace mother. uhoh_45
if he had everything maxed it probably broke the amp or is in the process of breaking easy there rebel, there's other possibility's to make an amp hot improper ground- wrong impudence/wiring below recommended- then as you said clipping/maxed everything... also poor ventilation and loose wiring/low voltage Quote R.I.P!
