speedball1978 Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 `just ordered the 320 HP alt from DC, had one available on the shelf in stock, should arrive here monday or tuesday of next week! Does anyone have this same alternator? if so i want to know what the specs are on this beef!

I'm a little worried you didn't double check the specs to ensure proper performance for what you need...not every big number is going to be the best option. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
speedball1978 Posted January 7, 2011 Author Report Posted January 7, 2011 well i forgot to ask Stan at DC, but at least i got one ordered.. i've waited 8 months to find one for my car and they finally had one...besides all they had for my car was the 180 and the 320 so i went with the 320 because i know what the 180 will put out..

In most cases, alternators with higher peak ampere have much lower idle output, so if this is a daily system the alternator may not be as effective unless driving or sitting with your foot on the pedal. What kind of vehicle? Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
