irpirate Posted May 5, 2011 Author Report Share Posted May 5, 2011 few updates. had more box flex than i thought so i added some a layer of wood around the outside of the box, also crawled in and added some 90 degree brace thingers. pretty tight squeeze getting in there. probably should get rid of some of the dust in there for the hell of it i don't really care much for sq setups, doubt i would be able to tell a difference to be honest. just need the mids and highs to be able to keep up with the subs so... 3.5" bullet tweeters straight to the back of the head =D the 02 audio 6.5's crapped out, seems like one the problems with the 3 way set was that the 6.5s were underbuilt. grabbed another pair of the kenwood coaxials just to have something in there for now. switched out the peerless 8s with cadence 8s. put all the grills on for protection because because i always seem to have a lot of crap i need to put in the passenger side. lastly the 4th order i have right now is roughly 1:1 been wanting to rebuild the box and then eventually switch out the subs. figuring i should be able to squeeze out quite a bit more cubic feet. cardboard taped to the windows is my ghetto tint job, and yes i know it's ugly in the back, hopefully that will change when i finally have enough money to rebuild the damn thing. hiiiiiiii2002 4runner - buncha speakers n amps n shit (gone)1994 astro - more stuffzupdate: pretty sure all the pic links in the logs are broken lol. ma slop garb build log16 12's 4th order4runner rebuild in progressclickkk meeeee!!!! 4 18's 6th orderUBL - clickyhttp://www.youtube.com/yyj11589 lots of hater kids here.
