I currently have my amplifier grounded to the seat bracket but not sure where to move it to. I heard that you could ground your secondary battery from the main battery, but can I use this same concept to ground my amp. I can't find a good spot to ground my amp unless I drill a hole through my floor and ground to the bottom of the car. The car is a 92 Ford Mustang. I can hear the noise from the exhaust, I'm pretty sure its coming from that ground spot

Best ground is to the frame of the vehicle, or directly to a battery negative post if you can reach it.

The frame or batt is best, but sometimes are hard to get to. I've got mine on my rear strut.

Yep ground to the rear strut tower or do a run from your front batt neg.

Make sure to grind the paint off first if you do it to the tower.

For the post above me, unibody cars have no frame.

When I ground my ground to the frame or by the strut bar I always manage to get a spot that gathers up moist then with in a hlf yer it gets all rusty
