Yes, they can get loud, but they aren't meant for being known as the loudest. I have a Fi Q, and reviews I read, says a Havoc is meant to blend in better with midbass than the Q. And I took it as the upper subbass/lower midbass wasn't very loud. A Q isn't real "punchy" as most SPLish subs are. And usually a "fart" box is peaking where a Havoc isn't designed to be loud at. Therefore making it not a good sub for SPL.
