I drive a 2002 tahoe and im ready to clean it up

already ordered a grill, new valance, projector headlights and the interior im gonna personally do gray and black with red piping on the seats.

but to the audio section

i currently only have a a cheap jensen touch screen, planet audio bb65pro speakers with a jl 450/4

i plan to replace everything. if i do keep the amp it'll run my tweeters.

i plan to run nx5 tweeters with Selenium mids.

subs im still in debate over and was hoping you fellas could help me out.

2 T3 t2000 15's

2 Dc Lvl4xl 15s

sub amp will more than likely end up being a Stetsom 3K7E(4500rms at 2ohm) unless i find 4500rms else where under $650...

which subs would you run with the power i plan to use? T3 is local but have no problem ordering from rusty or picking up a pair off the forum...

btw yes i will have the proper elec, 2 250amp alts, 2 xs d3400s under the hood and 2 d3100s in the back. should be more than enough imo for 5000rms

I'd be really skeptical of "4500rms" for only $650...

You just said your self.. a 4300 RMS amp is $100 more new. Why would a 4500 RMS amp only be $650? You got one for $600 brand new??

Why? stetsom's do every ouce of power...

for $650 i can get the Stetsom 3K7E. its R$1050 bal which is $650 plus shipping

WRMS Power (2 ohms) to 13.8 V: 4500 Watts RMS

WRMS power (4 ohms) to 13.8 V: 2650 Watts RMS

WRMS Power (2 ohms) to 12.6 V: 3750 Watts RMS

WRMS power (4 ohms) to 12.6 V: 2300 Watts RMS

i was gonna get a vcm and set it to 14.7-14.9 so im sure i'll see close to 5000rms out of it

hell i found aq3500's as low as $550 shipped... so why be skeptical at all. i know stetsom's and soundigital's do the power as long as they have the power to back it up.

xs emailed me and told me 2 d3100 will support upto 8000watts and running 2 d3400's upfront i'll have more than enough power.

i actually considered the current AQ3500 as well knowing it does 4300-4500rms and will take higher voltage unlike the stetsom...

Numbers really dont mean anything. Lets be honest, literally everything affects power. hot, cold, box rise, parasitic draws, pre amp out voltage, grounds etc, dont go by the numbers. buy an amp to get a baseline and expand from there.

Current System:

Pioneer 6900 HU

Front Stage: (for now)

Soundstream tarantula 5.25 in the doors

Soundstream tarantula 4x6 in the dash

Kenwood 400.4 for mids & highs

Bass:

4 Soundstream RW-12's

2 Power Acoustik Stax 4000/1D's

single chamber box, 2.65 cubes.

Currently under the knife being bagged

im really thinking about switching up and that why i need you all's help b/c i want the best product for the best price...

i like sundown but im not spending that much on the 4500d when i can get a sd8000.

speaking of SD, what are the 14.4 ratings on the sd5000.1d and 3000.1d. im really considering one of them with the sd1000.4ab.

overall will cost me more and make my build take longer but a 5 year warranty alone supports the extra money i'll be spending.

if i did go for the sd5000.1 would T2000's or lvl4xl's even handle it(at.14.4 or higher) or would i need to step up to lvl5's
