BIG-SEXY AUDIO Posted September 4, 2007 Report Share Posted September 4, 2007 What's up guys, just got some new stuff, I'm building everything right now, but my question is this for those who have the T10001bd have any of you tried running it at 0.5 ohm! If so what where the pro's and con's? Something like did the amp cut off till it got to a certain temperture! How was the soundQ of the amp! I got 2 going on 4 of the 07 P3 15's! Please tell me you don't already have 4 dual 2ohm P3's to put in. 4 15" FI Q D2's in 12 cubes tuned to 32hz 1- T1000.1bd's 3 Maxx 29 deep cycles 4 runs of 1/0 gauge -Big 3 -Trunk sealed off from the cabin Custom 15.8 dual-volt switching MLA module All in a CAR. But I'm seeing what you guys are saying, and it would be smart as a daily driver, to just start up and go! So 1 ohm sounds good enough to me, I actually just going to hook one T10001 up to them to began with! I've got someone looking to buy the other! But the birthsheet stated 1766 @ 1ohm so it will be right there at the RMS! Because I've done alot of work with the P3's (older model) and they over heat easy! But I'll think about it because if anything I could use the T500 for my mids! I am going to be renting the other one out till I get my 15" in and running! I just ordered his sub! 18" FI Audio BL which will have all 1766 watts RMS running to it, I'll post the build pictures! Derrick824 Posted September 9, 2007 Report Share Posted September 9, 2007 I've ran one of my T1Ks @ 0.67ohm on 3 dual 4ohm HX2 12s w/out any problems even when pounding hard. I've also tried running 4 P3 10s @ 0.5ohm without any success at all. At 0.5ohm it would go straight into protect before it ever got a chance to warm up. I don't recommend 0.5ohm at all.
