speedball1978
Today i was doing some reading on the tools section and noticed a few had asked about renting a o-scope and etc, well I happened to find one site (they don't list the price), you can request a quote. Thought this would be some help to some of the noobs out there who can't afford such expensive equipment http://www.testequipment.conres.com/digital-multimeters

speedball1978
Depends on how much you're willing to rent them out for...
n8ball2013
it wouldnt be alot. I just dont want to loan it out to someone and they break it. They couldnt afford to buy one to begin with so now I'm screwed. I'm sure it would have been broken in shipping too ya know. Or someone just fails to return it and takes the bad rap on it. I've loaned it out once before and just told him to cover shipping back. I'm not about to start doing that for everyone. kingsuv
I have no problem loaning a tool to a neighbor, but there is no way in hell I would ship out my scope to someone I only knew from on a internet site. We ain't talkin about a pair of pliers here. Some of this stuff isn't easy or cheap to come by. Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
Robert8252
Loan it at it's price. Say you have a TPI 440. $300 to loan it to the person. Then on return to you, you refund 250 of it as a deposit and the $50 covers shipping and a small profit for you. I wouldn't do it but that be one way it would be worth it. I can afford one. I just don't want to buy one just yet.
