Theirs a lot to building a performance car than meets the eye.

Also, ebay turbo suck, so please don't point anybody in that direction.

The prices I stated was all quality turbos and superchargers. Who wants a turbo that is built only to last a few thousand miles, if that.

Exactly, and most of those kits have generic turbos that cannot be rebuilt.

but dont even think of doing a turbo or supercharger unless its installed professionally and you have the motor rebuilt with lower compression pistons. you should be around 8.5:1 compression for a turbo or a supercharger to work properly. you can put one on if you want but you will not gain much from it other then it looking cool. bottom line is, i build budget engines that make a lot of power. if you dont want to take advice form me then thats fine. but dont insult me by telling me i dont knwo what im talking about when i have literally done the work myself. i wouldnt make this stuff up. also to the op can you clarify if the car is automatic or stick? thanks

well your car is more built for one. if im right they come with turbos stock??? also your car is stock with 8.8:1 compression, and thats why it doesnt hurt it. its built for it. a stock sbc has 9.5:1-10.5:1 compression.
