ChevyBoy Posted September 6, 2007 Report Share Posted September 6, 2007 the port isn't sealed off from the subs. their is air flow thru the port. once I get the amp, i will do a Port video demonstrating the air flow. the Port is Flared on the inside. so it goes like an backwards L you dont understand his question. hes pretty much asking if you sealed the subs from the trunk. if you did, that port has no point except to rattle your trunk. and if you got glue on the coils.....why? Yea the port isn't really needed if your sealed from the trunk we know the box is ported but if you port a box in a selaed area = trunk it really isnn't doing much but rattling that shit. Oh, I gotcha. I don't think the box is sealed off than. We are gonna make a baffle for 12's, take the 15's out, hook em up to the P6001 and see if I can get sum temp bump, ill letcha know bout the port working or not. Fear The Quack!
