So safely even a normal 0 guage copper cable wouldn't be enough.(theoreticly.) Just buy either the cca from knu or buy 2 runs of welding cable.(pure copper) Can you explain this a little more? Are you saying buying cca is better then pure copper? FaTbOy911 Posted January 27, 2011 Report Share Posted January 27, 2011 Ofc is better than cca Had an estimate of 6400 for an alpine/clarion setup dealer said it "should" hit around 160db with the custom boxes he was going to make for me..doubtful with so much area to move but, budget is way below that any ideas on cheaper brands for that kind of Spl setup? really didnt want to try any Boss or soundstorm, thinking Quantum figure around $150 per speaker "$1800 total" and $1700 to power it, first actual big setup for the van. I don't get it ..........I've been considering that Monster 400 series too, the price is unbeatable. Decisions, decisions. And if you look and take out the flux tube, you're still getting the same amount of copper as Knu.
