As far as I'm concerned there are four. Treat every weapon as if it were loaded. Never point a weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot. How about people who buy firearms must prove a basic understanding of gun safety? How about CCW holders should have to take a class before we let them tote around a firearm in public. If you think that there hasn't been 1 murder that's been avoided because of a cooling off period you're just proving my point of being non realistic. As far as being part of the problem most middle of the road voters look at both of the extreme sides of the gun debate is morons who can't find any common ground. I have taken many classes for all of my weapons and hold both a CCW and an exposed permit. If more people on both sides could meet in the middle there WOULD be common sense gun laws and maybe just maybe one CCW holder would be in a place like Aurora to take down a mass shooter. You go ahead and push not a single gun law will I allow though because that really helps the country.
