theory1230
Doing a challenger two 15 inch 8 cubes only have room for 60 sq in vent ? I want to do 100 sq but won't fit . What do you guys think should I just do two 12's I'm doing firing forward
RAM_Designs
Yep, go with 12's instead. Unless you're dealing with (very)low xmax woofers, or flat-out don't push your equipment very hard at all, then 60in^2 isn't going to cut it and you'll get port noise easily. On a brighter note, you can probably do three 12's and have enough room for a good sized port. What 15's were you planning on using? Decaf
check ur vent speed on winisd xmax and power will dictate whether u will get too much port compression try to keep it less than 17-20m/s

theory1230
I can do less volume but I'm firing the subs forward. The baffle is 16x34 with a hour glass shape vent in between the to subs it works out to 60 sq in. Its two small. I should just do two 12's. I can get more cone area. fritosaregood
for a trunk i would do 2 12s, but if you have plenty of volume and want 15s you could angle each sub in some. what subs are you using? and what power? seller feedback: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=61719 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=68281 build log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/index.php?showtopic=44800 Gf's build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/54346-kickergirls-camaro-new-box-pg-5/#entry753970
