Either of us will get you what you need for a good price. nice.. ill prlly get rid of the 2 and get 4 new ones.. also im in alaska.. Shipping shouldnt be too bad on the 8s. Im not sure about the v2s but my v1s came in a 10x10x8 box and weighed 18lbs. Worst case they should fit in a USPS large flat rate box. Quote
corona_jeff Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 I wouldnt mix the 2. There fairly different. Its better to have all the same. Quote
Maticus Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 They wouldn't mix the new ones can take more power and are built stronger iirc sell them and buy the 4 new ones also dustcap is diffrent if that counts lol They are all the same minus the cooling spacers, really. The new recones and the old recones are the same. Of course the cooling will add to the handling, but not too dramatically. Quote
CJ18 Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 Still better to not mix. If someone wants to buy the 2 you already have, I can get your 4 of the new ones no problem. Quote

sundownz Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 (edited) IMO they would have no problems mixing... far as I can tell the cone is the same but with a full size cap with a negligible mass difference, the spider is the same but with wider leads, and the frame spacing was done differently. None of which should alter T/S significantly. Unless the coil or motor changed in a non-visible fashion they should mix fine. CJ18 Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 Talked to Rusty this morning about this. You should have no problem mixing the v1 and v2 Level 2 8s. No major changes, mainly just cooling and a different cone. Quote
