1loudhoe
at this point it does even matter. if my build takes longer then it does but i wanna be fully satisfied and dont wanna feel like i have to upgrade in 6 months to a year. arent mayhem's and btl's honestly the same? i know the new btls are different...just wondering. ive been debating on lvl5 15s or smd15s...but i love massive lows and the impact of 18s and i want to pull a 150. hell 149.9 is close enough lol sometime next year i'll do a wall and not care about cargo area

1loudhoe
if i go with btl's which series will take the sd5000? i've been hearing some soundigital horror stories and i'm thinking about using my extra amp and getting another which is a AP aqx3500.1 so even with impedance rise it should still be putting around 3000rms. 2 aqx3500.1's or the SD5000.
hdorre
15's can hit low too THANK YOU!! if i go with btl's which series will take the sd5000? i've been hearing some soundigital horror stories Fully Loaded N2s in a moderately sized box. Just keep in mind that a SounDigital 5k is capable of outputting 6kwrms on 14.4 volts at 1 ohm. SD amps are rated at either 12.6 or 12.8 volts. Idk about the horror stories because I dont really follow SD too much. DC Audio is coming out with a comparable amp, the 5k. Its too soon to report any problems, but you shouldnt get any if the amps are around the same quality as their subs.
