RyanJ
What's up guys. So recently my car was in the shop toget body work done because I got hit and insurance covered most of it. But now, everytime I turn or give gas, there is this loud whining noise. I've been told it is because air got into my power steering fluid. L I took off the cap and I just see a bunch of air bubbles. One of my mechanic said that its just a minor issue and will go away in 4 days. The other said my pump for the power steering isn't working properly. One way is that when they worked on my car and undid the power steering pump, they let air get in. I was just wondering if anyone knew how to fix this. RyanJ
Anyone got any ideas? I read up that I need to replace my Power Steeering Pump O ring. has anyone done this before? And if so, does anyone know the size of the O Ring for a 2005 Honda Accord LX? I'm calling all my local auto stores for a certain one, but they only carry it by the size. IF anyone has any idea, please help. This whining noise in my car is KILLING me. Sounds like I'm driving an electric car . bkolfo4
Wife's car did the same thing and after two power steering pumps, they figured out it had a cracked hose. Charlander
It has a leak somewhere or air in the system, only thing that would cause bubbles. open the cap and turn the wheel from lock to lock, meaning to one side until it won't turn anymore then to the other side until it won't turn anymore, keep doing this back and forth this will work the air out of the system. If it persists I would suspect a leak and inspect all the hoses and connections while you have someone turn the wheel, if the leak is big enough you may be able to spot it by fluid being around the leak without having to turn the wheel. You about to dig the whole cemetery by yourself or what? We would all appreciate it if you'd quit. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
