Get aluminum bars over copper,imo . Why? Less corrosion over time, much easier on the wallet, almost zero performance difference for what we use it for. If you are concerned about conductivity you can always see if you can get 2024 aluminum which is a copper aluminum alloy.

hot if you wire it low just like any other amp

I personally have never had an amp mess up while charging.

I have dual 4 gauge into single 4 gauge input adapters.
