pstone11 Posted October 14, 2007 Author Report Posted October 14, 2007 Did a bunch of work today - mostly trying to get the kerfs for the ports right.. the angle on the front of the box makes for a tricky curve to fit. But they are turning out pretty swell - the only problem was that I couldn't just fill the cuts with glue then squish it in to a 90 like i can usually do with a kerf port. I had to set the piece up on a little jig, then CA glue the pleats together one at a time making sure it stayed tight and the right shape.. Then I forced as much glue into the cracks as possible to hold it secure for the fiberglass coat coming up tomorrow....Loving the progress though! Should have both set up tonight, then get them permed up and starting to look sexy tomorrow morning. Had to make up another port wall......
