pstone11 Posted October 14, 2007 Author Report Share Posted October 14, 2007 Did a bunch of work today - mostly trying to get the kerfs for the ports right.. the angle on the front of the box makes for a tricky curve to fit. But they are turning out pretty swell - the only problem was that I couldn't just fill the cuts with glue then squish it in to a 90 like i can usually do with a kerf port. I had to set the piece up on a little jig, then CA glue the pleats together one at a time making sure it stayed tight and the right shape.. Then I forced as much glue into the cracks as possible to hold it secure for the fiberglass coat coming up tomorrow....Loving the progress though!
