pull out the switch, and use your meter to check for a negative pulse when you hit the switch. If you get that it is probably the switch gone bad.

WOW! I have dealt with this for a long time. Trainman you have put a fantistic light on this. ISO keep your head up. Depression is a hard thing to cope with. My thoughts are with you. I am interested in lowering my 2000 dodge dakota a few inches in the front and back. Mabye 3" in front and 5"-6" in the back. I would like it to sit level for a good looking stance. I don't want to bag it or spend a million dollars. This is my daily driver and I put alot of miles on it. Just looking for some suggestions and options. Thanks!
