People who say "I got a *said* amp on a *said* sub and it takes it fine"..... yea ok fine but where is your gain at? Lots of headroom yo. I can put a TFE on a level 2 and it will take it if gain is all the way down and HU output is whatevs...

lol, thought of that too after making my post. You get what I'm saying though. Reminds me of when people post a score...ok but how did you achieve it? Sealed up? Door open, Headrest? WHAT?! Just sayin...

How about how many of the watts is your sub actually using and how many are just creating heat.
Most people don't realize at some point you are just creating heat and not getting any louder.
