  1. I believe that would be the point.

  3. Resistance is the opposition of flow of current. Its resisting flow. so the more resistance (the higher the ohms), the less power. so if u wire things to a lower impedance, the more power is result...to a certain point.
  4. 100 bnib? does he have any more? haha
  5. some people just put pieces of solder in it then melt it instead of drilling holes.
  6. P90x got so boring, I dont even know where it is now. maybe i should just sell it LOL. raw eggs is a thing of the past, just cook them any way u wamt. Im about to go make 5 over easy eggs right now, with some oatmeal on the side. nom nom nom. I also eat the yolks. Just take your multi, eat and lift heavy and watch the results I have one more month to bulk and then its cutting time woohooooooooooo
  7. I see what you did there but what good is a device that only measures sine waves? its job is to detect square waves
  8. There's some studies that say your body cant absorb more than 50g of protein at a time, but there's other studies that say otherwise. I don't really like how full I feel after eating that much at a time anyways. Same with other vitamins and stuff, thats why the percentages on the label are rated crazy high, so there's a higher chance of absorption. I weigh 184 and dont even eat 200g of protein a day, and I'm still gaining muscle. Not saying that more wouldn't help, but counting calories has worked for me thus far. Ill start counting macros when I get stuck. As for whether its good for you, the kidneys are what you need to be worried about. Just drink plenty of water. But I still wouldnt worry. There's many bodybuilders who only have one kidney and still consume protein as normal.
  9. Furthermore, I'm not saying that it is the highest looked upon or most accurate way to set things, but if you dont have a dmm or oscope then this will get you by. A dmm does not guarantee a clip free environment, you have to trust that the output will be clean going by the manufacturers specs. Using an o scope is the safest way as stated, but dont go out and buy one just so you can set some basic equipment perfectly.
  10. Everyone wants to be such a scientist about setting a gain knob and use all these instruments when the fact of the matter is that they are setting up for perfect conditions. Amplifying a clipped signal is much worse than just having clipping on the amp side. Setting by ear is a decent way to get in and be done with it. If you can't hear it then it's probably below 10% and nothing to worry about.
  11. I already fixed your last thread bro. You had it right but you cant post more than one img tag on one line. but yea check your other thread.
  12. please go. as far as best I could stare at DLS amp guts all day. TBH JL makes some sexy amps also. But thats not really what the discussion is about.
  13. well good thing my deck doesnt clip at full tilt. What would I do without being able to turn that knob all the way to eighty....phew
  14. I have never heard of a legal amount of "time" to play per say. I do know that your car can only be so loud before getting pulled over. Also, some state laws require that the music shouldnt be heard over a certain distance. Problem is, the distance is usually something pretty small, something maybe even a stock speaker system could violate. Just be smart and only bump when moving fast and not when stopped or in busy neighborhoods.
  15. calm down. Why are you telling us voltage when the truck is off? Keep it on when you play it, especially it being a larger amp. But if it's still dropping bad when the truck is on, time to upgrade the electrical if you wanna hammer on it.
  16. Last time i checked I don't want my sub playing over 8O Hz. U must have read something wrong
  17. Here ya go, they're crossed at 25hz in the vids. Cam didnt pick them up well, but trust me they're making noise
  18. This is probably more of a take notes session than a discussion, as there's probably only a handful of people on the site that know wtf all of this just meant, truly
  19. It depends on the set. Each set will specify what the average impedance is at the crossover. The AQ 4 channel isnt a bad priced amp in my opinion.
