dude you must have it on the full or the high pass filter on....check again for the low pass..

Yes it can take it just make sure you have your gains set right nad not clip them and you'll be set man those things are known to take 4000 if set right man

From what ive read your able to just turn it off in a sealed box since its not tuned its just sealed.oh and the wiring dont try and bridge it keep it at 2 ohms...
