  1. Just a Simple Video Showing How I built Anas Podium for her CRX
  2. More than likely yes, because having a level 4 woofer with a level 3 coil put into is actually pointless. Im pretty sure the level 3 coil is weaker than the level 4 coil so down grading a level 4 with a level 3 coil is unheard of. Now putting a level 4 coil into a level 3 motor would possibly give you better power handling and handle a little more abuse if the cooling is up to the job on the level 3 motor, which Im sure it is. So if anything you have a level 3 woofer with a level 4 coil, maybe an added spider to make a tad stiffer suspension. Level 3m2 4 layer round wire coil Level 4m2 8 layer flat wound coil
  3. RMS power rating is a rating of what a sub can take for long periods of time. Run the amp at 2 ohms
  4. Generally you want 12-15 si of port area per cubic foot of box
  5. Thats 9hz under tuning, If you know your going to play down there you should tune down there.
  6. We only run the t/s on the stock form, Theres so many options it would take a lot to run the all with all the different options.
  7. I dont think theres any pre fab stuff out there, If you want a grill you would need to build it
  8. if you want to tune down there the port are is going to be small Say your box was 3.32 gross, that would be 3 net and you used 1 4" round port external 14 inches long it would tune you to 27 With a 2200 watt amp at .5 ohms you are going to want to make sure its correct
  9. Are you saying you can hear the difference between subwoofers that are wired in series vs parallel ?
  10. I wouldent do it, I would use a 3.5 for 4 of them
  11. I wouldent do it, I would use a 3.5 for 4 of them
  12. If again it was 3.5 cubes NET and you could get a 6" port then you would use 1 @ 17" long to get to 32 hz
  13. Also I assume were talking about NET volume, Lets say it was 3.5 NET then to tune to 32 you would need 2 4" ports 15" long each This would be about 25si of port
  14. I wouldent put it in a 4 cubic foot box, 3.5 is the largest I would use
  15. theres not real answer to that, box volume, port volume and port length area ll needed to determine a tuned freq
  16. If you have a D2 subwoofer and it reads 2 ohms at the leads on top of the spider but the terminal itself reads 4 ohms then the solder connection inside the terminal needs to be re heated with a soldering iron. Test it again after the terminal has cooled off. Should be good to go
