Try it both ways and see if using it causes clipping at your preset max HU volume.

I don't know because I use the CD and when using the CD I don't have that option on my HU. I only have that option when using blue tooth, aux or usb.

Best thing to do is call sonic and see if they can give you the same price as before or a better price. I did it with my set of RE xxx component set. They price had gone up by 100 bucks but I got them for the same price I paid before.

My bass knob clip light actually came on before the DD-1.

The 0db track is for finding hu clipping volume then use either track 3 -5db or track 5 -10db or track 7 -15db 40Hz tone to set sub gain. I personally use track 3 as I get too much clipping at -10db

I don't think vids with music are going to happen.

Well then take a set of 1/0 to 4 gauge and put them on and try. see what that does.

That was cool to watch. I have a set of toolmaker 1/0 to 4 reducers I was going to use on my amp but then found out that 1/0 wire fits. I guess I will break them out and install them on the end of my power and ground. Thanks for the vid.
