  1. Let me get over my 5 day vegas hangover and then we'll discuss whats going to happen to the old one..
  2. Get the Blue...everyone knows that Blue is fasterrrrr.... Actually, being a brighter color, it stands out much better than the black to other drivers. Yami FTMFW
  3. That fan only moves up to 2500 cfm though. In order to keep stock cooling capabilities, you would need like 4 of them suckers just to keep up with the 1 single stock fan that you have...and I doubt you have that much room up front.
  4. I am truely not a fan of electric fans. They just do not move enough air to keep up with the clutch drivin fan. I was looking at putting some on my truck about 2 years ago. When I started doing research, the stock fan I found out is moving around 12k CFM's of air, where as the max I could find for electrics was around 5k CFM. I highly reccomend you find out how much air your stock fan can move and then get an equivilant size fan. camino_1to3 - I think Ish is talking about engine cooling and not Amp cooling. That fan only blowing 43 cubes isn't going to do a darn thing in the engine compartment. Kev
  5. What's wrong with the stock brake system? Personally, I stay far away from Ceramic pads, for my application, they just do not have the braking power that I need. Kev

  7. What year van is it? If you currently have a cat on it, the law says that you must retain it. If you do not have a cat, for simplicity reasons, I'd Y the pipes together above the rear axle and put them both into a single muffler. If you free flow it too much you will run the motor too lean. If it's carbed, with a free flowing exhaust, you'll want to have the jets tuned. Kev
  8. GP... sorry to hear about the family probs. We have ICE here in CO and let me say, those guys ain't play'n around. They are pretty much considered federal agents here and can do raids anytimg any place they wish. To answer your question about how to make him legal. He has two ways to do this 1) He needs to go home and work with both his government and ours in order to get a green card to be over here legally (this is the more lengthy of the two) OR 2) He needs to go home and then your sister needs to sponsor him into the states. This will give him the capability to get a green card, in which he can then start going through the US Immigration process of turning his Green Card over for permanent Residency. I have some friends here at work that have Korean wives and they had to go through this. It isn't hard to get the sponsorship and bring her husband over here pretty quickly. But unfortunatley, everything has to be initiated with him at his country of residency. kev
  9. This is for the 9 Haterz. At similar velocities the ballistics of all 3 calibers are not far from each other. BALLISTICS for CONVENTIONAL JHP LOADS Caliber: 9 MM LUGER+P Bullet Weight: 125 GR. JHP Velocity: 1250 FPS Energy: 434 FTLBS Barrel Length: 4.0 Caliber: 40 S&W Bullet Weight: 150 GR. JHP Velocity: 1200 FPS Energy: 480 FTLBS Barrel Length: 4.0 Caliber: 45 AUTO +P Bullet Weight: 185 GR. JHP Velocity: 1150 FPS Energy: 543 FTLBS Barrel Length: 5.0
  10. I'm with ya brutha..it just goes to show that many people don't have experience beyond punching holes in paper. I've done ballistic testing on many rounds and I can assure you that 9mm is not weak. the 9mm and 45 come very close in penetration tests. The issue isn't the round..its the shooter.
  11. Full Auto's are not hard to get if you live in an NFA friendly state. The key is that you can not own a receiver made after the Brady ban in 1984. Nowadays pending on what you want, M16's can be had for in between 10 to 20k kev
  12. I hope this is a joke, cause apparently not much experience is had from a comment like this.
  13. Hey bro..thanks for the Pics..I have't seen your mom or sis in freak'n years...tell'm my family said hello Kev
  14. HELLLZ No..Stay far away from BD The owner is an A$$hole and makes crap products!! If your looking for a trans or diff pans stick with Mag-Hytec. If you want an Exhaust brake stick with either Jake or Pac.. but this should be a different topic
  15. For throttle control, I prefer the R6. My wife has a GSXR-750 and the powerband just comes on way to early. She starts hitting powerband right above 4k, where as the R6's will start hitting power about 8k. Throttle control is crutcial when on twisty roads or on the track as you are always on and off of the throttle.
  16. How is that any different than the other 85% of athletes? How many of them have drug/alcohol and criminal charges? I'm not defending Melo...I'm just saying that most of the professional athletes are not Role Model material.
  17. My wife has the exact same bike..and not too long ago she was looking to trade it in for an 08. I can say that the dealer was going to give us around 6k for it..and we all know dealers lowball. So yeah..that deal is way to good to be true. It's either been laid down and cosmeticlly repaired, or it's got some serious engine damage from an idiot who probably didn't know how to ride it in the first place. kev
  18. Really...the best way to get information is to search the BATF's website. Don't trust any local dealers. You can own and shoot mags about 30 rounds anytime you want..don't think one bit that you are limited to 10 rounds. But what the ATF considers a "Machine Gun" is a weapon that has 3-5 accessories all being mounted on a weapon that is classified as an "Assault Weapon."
  19. Anything above 10 is considered high capacity per the goverment, but that was part of the AWB that was lifted. Yeah I know..the laws are very grey, which means you have to use exteme judgement when doing anything.
  20. Hey brutha..don't worry, they are completely legal to own. What you need to be aware of are is the 3-5 rule. If any weapon classified under the Assault Weapon ban has 3 of 5 items is when it could be considered a machine gun and is illegal. The items are 1) flash suppressor 2) pistol grip 3) folding stock 4) high cap mag 5) bayonet lug Yes the AWB was listed, but this is a federal regulation as to how weapons can be considered machine guns. As far as your question about being fully auto. An honest answer...don't think about it and don't try it. It is completely illegal no questions asked. I won't go into the regulations about Class II/III firearms unless you ask, or we can take it offline. Me personally, I would choose to stay away from the 7.62 caliber....read the post asking if it is going to stop being made.
