Once on a T20001bd pieces of wire fell into it. (On the board, inside the amp) Started to cut out after a volume. So we opened it up and cleaned it. Only took 10-15 min. Problem solved. But it doesn't sound like thats the problem.. Your idle with car on should be more than 12.6.

Just run the + from batt to batt and ground the secondary in trunk. And fuse it please.

Why don't you just save up some more money? Pay 130 now and it blows 2 weeks later for another 130. That will be 260. Gone.

It's very hard to beat FI for the price. That's how I see it. But if RE was same price as FI I would most likely run RE.

The subs don't have FI but we did put the sticker on the window somewhere to represent.

The rockford power series can handle .7. Most 1 ohm stable amps can handle a .7 ohm load..

What about SSD's with flatwind coil? They would take 2000 a pair. And it would be within your budget.
