Glad you notice that stuff!!!! Many "companies" in this industry simply go to shows and walk around trying to get customers, while other companies like Mechman actually support the shows and the industry. If more consumers would look at what companies are actually investing into the industries they love, then things could change. Yes, companies pay to get their names associated with the shows, but if all the manufactures pulled out and simply walked the shows then there wouldn't be any shows.

A lot of the difference is in the back end of the alternator. The main area is the brush holder. One of the test that the Coast Guard does is a "self induced explosion test." They pretty much pump flammable gas into the alternator and spin it up to see how it blows up. Yes they destroy the alternator as part of the test. id like to see a youtube vid of this please and thank you The Coast Guard most likely doesn't release any of the tests they do. They really aren't in the business of being YouTube famous.

Moving along on the build. Battery rack and half of the bars are complete now.

We are not use to this - temps and snow and ice. The entire town shuts down.

Currently we are having some unreal weather for our area. Has made it hard to make it into the office as much here lately. We are supposed to get more snow/ice coming up, so if we do not respond back we are working on it or working on getting into the office. Build times are delayed, but we are working as hard as we can to get everything caught up.

I will try to check your order tomorrow if we can get into the office. Snow and ice have us at a stand still at this point. Temps are supposed to be in the - range tonight, so it is not thawing out very quickly. Pending is what the order moves to when it is in the build process though.
