  1. which one is the stronger battery and is it a night and day difference i see the site says 3400 has 3300 max amps and 67 ah which is more max amps than the xp's 2500 max amps but it has 100 ah
  2. well at 24" deep x 36" Wide x 48" height assuming your measurements are right ?? then thats just over 20 cubic feet before port, sub and bracing displacement....you need more info like which measurement is width and which one is depth ...do you want the sub up or the sub back and how large you want the box to be
  3. im in Virginia 23454 Price of a XL 15 dual 2 additional spiders.... 2.0k... and just for curiosity LVL 5 15 dual 2
  4. 37" wide 17" Tall 22" Deep tuned to 32 hz sub up port back sub will be an 18 Lvl 4 i know deminsions are small but talked to rusty he told me 5-5.5 cubic ft after displacement would be fine
  5. looks good makes me wish i had more room to do one 18 let alone two
  6. if you dont mind me asking how did you or what did you use to hook them up in your room
  7. i figured i would post some pics and vids of my current system before i sell it later on this week to get my next system. dont have access to a video editor so the vid is just slapped together.
  8. oh well either way shits gonna pound should do impressive drive by numbers 130+ forsure
  9. that ground that you are using for your batterys in the back works fine? cause the only thing holding me back from putting another battery in the rear is finding another ground and i didnt want to drill a hole through the floor to ground at my chasis
  10. my bad didnt relize you had one build the box you will improve drastically brace to i made that mistake and did brace and first and it was flexing pretty good even though i use 3/4 mdf. a lot port i found helps with this sub through trial and error i believe i have almost 60 square inches of port
  11. well i have one that im selling to get an 18 Q ... comparing it to a friend of mines L7 15 i am noticeably louder with both woofers in there optimum enclosure(well mine is in a little bigger box 3.8cubes) both of the boxes were built by me and tuned to 33hz when i comes to the lows i have him beat but the higher notes arent really pronounced on mine as they are on his but thats what happens when you tune boxes low for certain subs.. but overall if its a budget system then it will get plenty loud and sound just as good as some of the big commercial brands rated the same i.e. kicker mtx... putting it a big box and with alot of port is a must and give some good power and you will be fine( oh and both of the subs are being pushed off of the same amp T1000.1) with the mofo in a pathfinder and the L7 in a Xterra and the xterra has a better electrical then me i drop to 11v when i get on it he doesnt drop below high 12's and im still louder.. main point is dont get caught up on the names all that matters is if you think its loud buy it and sell if its not you wont know if you dont try it alot of things are all based on application
  12. 2000 rms to one? if so i wouldnt recommend that for the Q or ssd maybe the bl but i think your looking at getting something along the lines of a btl with 2000 rms
  13. yea 10 is perfectly fine when you use true 8 awg as i did even if the terminals are 8awg once you figure you have to wire it in parallel(1 ohm for your situation) squeezing two positive and two negative wires in one speaker terminal becomes tight i would stick with 10awg just for ease of install and it isnt going to hurt anything
  14. should be able to pull it off especially if it is a hatch and those btl's should do fine in 5cubes with alot of power... good luck tuned in
  15. Im looking for some sites with quality products so that i can improve my interior and exterior. with clear corners, dash kits, gauge cluster and more what are some of the sites that you use? oh yeah the vehicle is a 1999 nissan pathfinder
  16. i mean you cant ever go wrong with names like alpine, rockford, kicker etc all the top names are top names for a reason b/c of the quality.. I have never dealt with the mrp m500 but i have dealt with the alpine mrp 1000 and it does all of what i says and some it push a 15" L7 really well.. so if budget permits go with the alpine. if not look at hifonics quality products a little overrated but easier on the pockets and wont crap out on you like some other amps. if u go with one of them look for one rate at 700 rms @ 2ohms
