owning both p3s and these i found these to be better overall i know im gonna catch flack for this ... cerwin vega vmax woofers. they are only 600 rms have dual 7 inch spiders and a 2.5 inc voice coil.. i can get em here for around 99 apeice. and they sounded better than my p3s .the sound quaility was much better and they got louder.. or check out what i found http://charleston.craigslist.org/ele/1040578091.html OR EVEN BETTER http://columbia.craigslist.org/ele/1013500044.html build a dual 12 box and keep one as a spare.. thats a killer price.. if your brothers such a pro then have him check the woofers out.

take those p3s back for 700.. forget that. id get some other woofers for that price. where are you located at ?

i vote subs up port up... keep it simple..

another fuse is incase something shorts out on that peice of wire.. that way you dont ruin a alternator and whatever else might be touching that wire.. not to mention blowing up a battery... fuse between the positive on the alt and the battery...

put the subs up against the back seat and have the port at the rear either facing up by the hatch or facing directly at the hatch.. i did two 12 boxes with ports on the sides and they were flops

am i the only one here who thinks the port exiting the side is a bad idea???

Just measure width depth and height of the port baffle. Also what size is your box.

Measure width. Then height Then depth to the corner of the l and then from that point to the end of the port.

Take the pre measures to never buy a prefab. That's how Most prefabs are around 40hhz. At least that's what I found
