    I can see a 'reaction' button on status updates, but I dont see a 'reaction' button in any normal thread posts...  Are yall able to see this mythical button on normal thread posts?

      I see what you're talking about. Looks like a problem with the default theme. I will try to fix this problem, but in the mean time here's how you can fix it.......Scroll to the very bottom of the website and look for "Theme". Then select any other theme besides the default. I think the best one for the time being is "SMD Regular". I know it's a lot brighter but it at least doesn't have any bugs.
