The 5k was a couple hundreds less than $1k I believe. And i might hit a DC guy up for pricing. If you go by MAP pricing it is, which I was told is what the dealer quote everybody at. If MAP was a couple hundred less than 1k, A LOT of people would be jumping to get them. As I don't know many amps at MAP that is under 1k for 5000rms. I actually would think MAP on a 9k being 2k plus honestly.

I would assume a lot more than 1k. As the 5k is well in the 1k range. And it is almost double the power.

I'd would assume something close to Cactus k9 and AQ20k?

7.3 FTMFW. I LOVE mine. And also, when you say turning down hp give you better fuel economy isn't always true with diesels. There's a guy on youtube. Powerstroke help, he made a video on it. I have 7 tunes option on my truck. My best fuel economy is actually +100hp on the highway. And +60 for around town. I get a average of 17. But on highway its 20. So not bad for a truck that will seat 6, run 15.3 at the dragstrip, pull anything under the legal limit(and actually more). Just all FTW.

Asking a ETA on when he might start on other baskets is premature? Wtf? Your getting pissed cause people has a lot of interest in this? As I've heard the AQ is a 4200watt board and DC is the 3500watt board. The 3.5 does cost less than the AQ 3500, but you are correct that AQ has gone to a 4200w board on the 3500s. I always thought from cold to hot drop was usually ~.5 volts or so.

What makes this MT handle more power than a normal MT?

the DC site N/A but I think it might because look how big it is... Size doesn't quiet justify if the amp is stable at lower ohms. Its big because of it being a Class AB, and with that design you need more components than a Class D. Its quiet uncommon these days for a Class AB to be 1ohm stable. I doubt DC really needed to make it 1ohm stable. But never hurts to ask.
