My hifonics brz1200 was getting REALLY hot always. I had it grounded to the battery. One day it just went up in smoke.

because when setting amp with 50hz tone sine wave does not change. however when paying music it goes up and down a lot to the point where it can exceed it limit (clip) if set with 0db track.

not 100% sure, but I believe it lowers sine wave of how far up and down it can travel when setting.

I thought someone clamped HU built in amplifier and it had around 10wrms of clean power Adding 4 channel amplifier will defeniatly help. Making it louder and cleaner.
